Food was great and very nice staff. They try their best to accommodate what ever your needs are. Great place to check out.

Love this place. I'm a pescatarian/health nut. The only meat I eat is seafood and they have many options to choose from. They are always great with any accommodations I need to food and it's always delicious. Staff is super sweet. Highly recommend

Delicious food. Great service. I've dined in and had take out. 100% must try the chicken nachos, they are to die for! Very cozy environment inside as well, the booths and tables are both comfortable and roomy.

Many, many years ago, we tried River House, and were not really fans. I thought the hype in the area was not deserved. It just didn't really "do it" for us. Recently, we thought, let's give them another chance. I was told they redid a lot of things, so it was worth a shot. I am extremely happy that we did. The menu choices and options are great. Lots, and I mean LOTS, of things for everyone. The atmosphere is fantastic, and we love what they did with the decoration and overall feel of the place. Our recent trips have included trying the Mediterranean Chicken (very good!), the Pot Roast (also really good!), Wings, Alfredo, and Tenders basket. I also tried the French Onion soup, but it wasn't my favorite I've had. The alfredo was "ok", but it reminded me a lot of the quick jar of Ragu brand that I have had before from the store. This was on the kids alfredo, though, so I don't know if maybe the adult dinner would be different? Everything else, though, was very good! Excellent desserts, too! LOTS of options, all very good! I will also say that the past few times we've gone, the service has been fantastic. We do look forward to going back and trying many more things on their menu, and I will update accordingly.

The River House is one of the best local food places around. I ordered the Black and Bleu burger for my birthday back in February, and I realized that I hadn't dropped a review for them, so I've gotta take care of that little situation right now. First off, I need to say, they definitely didn't skimp on the blue cheese. Some of these places that advertise a burger with blue cheese, they get all nervous or miserly with it, I guess afraid that customers can't really handle a good portion of it. Not the River House! The steak burger was cooked medium exactly as requested, and the homemade chips didn't get soggy in the distance between the restaurant and my house, which may be a first for me. Usually they get solid and limp, but not the chips from the River House! I suppose if I had any criticism at all, it would've been that the bun could've used a bit of TLC. It was just your average burger bun. Now, if they'd buttered it a bit more or maybe toasted it, it would have been well and truly perfect. They have a pretty good sized menu and seasonal options, so definitely check them out when you can.

Charleroi was the destination point tonight. First time here, on recommendations from friends. Great choice, great food. I had the Braised Beef stuffed Ravioli, with a meat sauce. First course, a good simple salad, fresh, a nice starter. The Ravioli was awesome, cooked perfect, braised beef filling was delicious, meat sauce was excellent, sauce was delicious! Two pieces of garlic bread rounded out a great meal. I will be back, a big menu, plenty of choices. Burgers, pasta, steak, pizza, seafood. Can't wait to try the rest.
